Employment Equity

The Employment Equity act promotes equal opportunities for previously disadvantaged groups. The Department of Labour requires an employment equity report in order to see what the current company structure is, what, if any, skills shortages there are and also to note the staff movement within the company.

We assist organisations to adhere to the current legislation by offering the following:

  • An employment equity audit is conducted.
  • An employment equity plan is prepared and implemented.
  • Completion and submission of EEA2 & EEA4 reports are submitted to the Department of Labour.
  • Consultations with employee representatives are held regarding the audit, the employment equity plan and the report.
  • A statement of the differences of income received by employees in each occupational category is submitted to the Employees Conditions Commission.
  • We ensure that the company assigns a responsible manager to carry out the affirmative action
